The 4 star Riverside Park Hotel & Leisure Club in County Wexford is picturesquely situated on the banks of the River Slaney, on the edges of the bustling market town of Enniscorthy. It’s a scenic location for sure and we were warmly welcomed.
We loved the Lobby of this hotel with its magnificent tower and curved staircase. For families this Wexford Hotel stood out offering inter-connecting rooms on request.
There are two restaurants and an extensive menu. The Moorings Restaurant serves traditional dishes while the Alamo Steakhouse – which is based in the old woollen mill dating back to the 1700’s – takes its inspiration from Texas.
We hear the Riverside Park Hotel is a popular choice for Wexford conferences & weddings. We took a 360° photo of the Hilton Edwards Suite which overlooks the River Slaney. It was set up for a wedding at the time.
Nearby places to see are Enniscorthy Castle and the National 1798 Rebellion Centre (an interactive museum), both 350 metres from The Riverside Park Hotel. The hotel is a stone’s throw away from Enniscorthy Railway Station and 25 minutes’ drive from Wexford Town.
For those wishing to explore the treasures and attractions of Wexford, the Riverside Park Hotel makes a great central base.
