The National Gallery of Ireland houses the national collection of historic Irish and European fine art. It is located on Merrion Square in the heart of Georgian Dublin directly adjacent to Leinster House, the seat of the Dáil (the Irish Parliament).

This place to see in Dublin is situated at Merrion Square and near the National Museum in Kildare Street it is not too out of the way. And the collection of renowned masterpieces make the visit definitely worth the while. Along with it’s sister institutions the Natural History Museum, the National Museum and the National Library, encircling Leinster House, it constitutes part of a Museum quarter.
